The Tesla Motorsport is indipended company that took the Tesla Motors Model S and converted it to GT2/3 model.The Model S GT motor is in fact combination of two 225kW motors that were introduced in the 60kW Model S, giving power of 450kW and torque of almost 900NM to the wheels.There is also little modification to the transmission, instead of fixed one gear direct transmission, they gave the Model S GT 3-speed direct transmission and achieved over 350 km/h speeds.Battery is also story for itself, since it is the heaviest part in car, Tesla Motors together with Mercedes-Benz developed new battery module to come to new Tesla cars, providing almost 3x more capacity with same weight.And, because this is a GT model, they needed to reduce weight of whole car, so the Model S GT has around 1500kg and battery has 120kWh. All this gives great performances to the vehicle.
